Get Involved

Meetings

Every Monday at 7:00 p.m. in Student Union room 220.

Meetings are held weekly during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. This is when all of our members get together to learn about upcoming events, talk about ways to get involved, and share opinions and perspectives. Each meeting begins with a discussion on topics ranging from ethics and philosophy to current events and how religion intersects with social and political issues. Afterwards, we have Doubter's Digest where everyone goes out to eat at a local restaurant in the UCF area.

Meetings

Tabling

Tabling

Every week, Monday through Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m in front of the Student Union.

Tabling is a fun and easy way to get involved. Many clubs, including SSA, set up a table and tent in front of the UCF Student Union, where students can learn about different organizations on campus.

Feel free to stop by any time during tabling to ask questions, learn about upcoming events, or hang out with fellow members. We have club information, resources for students, and various activities including chess and Cards Against Humanity.

Volunteering

Volunteering

Volunteering is an important part of our role in our community. Giving back to our community is just one way we continue to show we are "good without god".

We volunteer at various locations in the greater Orlando area, including Second Harvest Food Bank and Orlando Health and Rehabilitation Center. We have also collected food, clothing, and school supplies for local organizations providing assistance for the homeless.

Social Media

SocialMedia

Stay up to date on all of our meetings, discussions, volunteering, and social events by liking our Page on Facebook.

We also have a Facebook Group. This is a Secret Group to prevent inadvertently outing someone as an atheist, agnostic, questioning their faith, or whatever their status may be, thus causing friction between families, places of employment, or friends. To be added to the Group, Like our Page, message the Page requesting to be added, and one of our officers will add you as a friend and then add you to the group.
